APV gaskets play a vital sealing role in numerous industrial fields, making proper selection crucial. First, media compatibility must be considered.

Different working media have different requirements for gasket materials. For common media such as water and steam, gaskets made of materials like NBR and EPDM are more suitable; while for highly corrosive media, gaskets made of corrosion-resistant materials such as fluororubber are necessary. Second, temperature is a critical factor. In high-temperature environments, gasket materials need good heat resistance to prevent aging and deformation due to excessive heat; in low-temperature environments, gaskets require a certain degree of flexibility to prevent cracking. Third, pressure also affects selection. Under high-pressure conditions, gaskets need sufficient strength and sealing performance to prevent media leakage. Furthermore, the dimensional accuracy of the gasket must be considered to ensure a perfect match with the sealing surface of the equipment. When selecting APV gaskets, all these factors should be comprehensively considered, and the most suitable gasket should be chosen based on specific working conditions and requirements to ensure normal equipment operation and good sealing performance.
