Material Preparation Stage
The production cycle of 1100mm diameter heat exchanger gaskets primarily depends on the material selection. Common gasket materials such as graphite, metal, or composite materials have significantly different procurement and pre-processing times. Graphite typically requires 3-5 days of custom cutting, while metal gaskets may require even longer precision machining. After the materials arrive, quality inspection and pre-processing are necessary, typically taking 2-3 working days.
Production Process Flow
The core processes in gasket manufacturing include three key steps: cutting, forming, and surface treatment. For large gaskets with a diameter of 1100mm, precision waterjet cutting may take 8-12 hours, the forming process requires 1-2 days depending on its complexity, and surface treatments such as polishing or coating require an additional day. Gaskets with special shapes or composite structures may require more complex processing techniques, correspondingly extending the production time.
